Secured Capital will sell RTC portfolio of nursing homes, loans.


Real estate investment firm Secured Capital Corp. of Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  will soon begin marketing a new $200 million package of nursing homes and performing loans backed by similar properties for the Resolution Trust Corp., according to according to

The offering will be the second in two months for Security Capital, which last month conducted an offering of non-performing retirement-home loans, reported the Newark, N.J.-based Thrift Liquidation Alert.

D. Michael Van Konynenburg, the principal at Security Capital handling the deal, said that the firm's compensation for administering the two deals has not yet been made public.
