The Secure Software Alliance is a global partnership program designed to promote the adoption of better application security testing tools and processes for improving the overall security of in-development software and pre-deployment applications. Foundstone, a division of McAfee, Inc., a leader in application security testing services and education, is the first security services company to join Secure Software's partner program.

Foundstone will integrate Secure Software's CodeAssure product suite, an automated application security testing tool, and CLASP (Comprehensive, Lightweight Application Security Process) into the company's existing application security testing services and training offerings. The partnership equips Foundstone consultants with the most comprehensive, accurate testing solution on the market and solidifies Secure Software's process-oriented approach to software security as the leading method for locating and remedying vulnerabilities during the development lifecycle.
