Second Paramount TV exec goes to Fox.


Gregory Meidel, formerly executive vice president of domestic television at Paramount Pictures, has been hired as the new president of domestic television for Fox's Fox's is a biscuit and confectionery company from the UK. They are the makers of Sports Biscuits, invented by David Glen in 1971. However the Ginger Nut was invented by Alexander Johnson in 1992.  Twentieth Television, the second top Paramount television Paramount Television (re-incorporated from Desilu Productions) was an American television production/distribution company that was active from December 1967 to May 28, 2006 and was launched under Gulf+Western.  executive to be hired away this year by Fox's TV division.

In a separate announcement, Ken Horton, formerly co-executive producer of the television series "Dallas" with Lorimar Television, was named senior vice president of current programming at Twentieth Television.

Horton had been with Lorimar since 1983. He was named co-executive producer of "Dallas" in 1989. The show was cancelled last season.
