David Gold is an English businessman.
 admits he was surprised by the reaction of Seb Larsson's agent to his vow to keep the Swede swede: see turnip.  at St Andrew's.

Gold exclusively told Mercury Sport last weekend that Blues star Larsson will only leave the club "over my dead body".

That stance sparked a furious reaction from the former Arsenal man's agent, Per Jonsson Per Jonsson (born 21 March 1966 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a former speedway rider who won the Speedway World Championship in 1990, and finished runner-up in 1992.[1]

In 1985 he became 1985 in his second season with the Reading Racers.

Jonsson said: "It's not funny to hear when David Gold says things like that.

"Do you need to become enemies with everyone at the club to be allowed to leave? He has said things like this before and still sold players.

"May be Birmingham will get an offer they can't refuse. I hope it will be solved."

And the Blues chairman even suggested meeting Jonsson to iron out their differences but Gold refused to budge from his stance that Larsson is going no where.

"Seb's agent sounded like a man that is looking to get his player a move but my comments remain, I see Seb Larsson as an integral part of our squad," said Gold.

"I know that Seb wants to play in the Premier League but we want him to help us get promoted. His agent sounds like a man with a chip on his shoulder, I haven't met him but if I get the opportunity I'll try to iron out the issues."
