A citizen of the Netherlands, Katz will be responsible for growing Seattle Systems' network of European Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P) distributors, adding distributors in new markets and stimulating sales. Katz's sales directorship comprises countries inside and outside of the European Union European Union (EU), name given since the ratification (Nov., 1993) of the Treaty of European Union, or Maastricht Treaty, to the

European Community
 (EU) including countries in the Middle East.

Given his considerable experience in the O&P sector, Katz will leverage his strong relations with a wide range of European medical distributors and O&P facilities. Formerly of ORBO NV, a holding company owning companies involved in the European commercial medical field, including the second largest rehabilitation company in the Netherlands, Harting-Bank BV, Katz was instrumental in growing ORBO's medical portfolio. Prior to ORBO NV, Katz was the country manager for the Netherlands for Thuasne, a producer of orthopedic products and a distributor of Seattle Systems products.
