The Diablo Lake Adventure is a 2 1/2-hour escorted tour and boat excursion up the rugged and narrow Diablo Lake Canyon. Surrounded by the towering snowcapped peaks of the North Cascades The North Cascades are a section of the Cascade Range of Western North America. They span the border between the Canadian province of British Columbia and the US state of Washington. , visitors ply the turquoise green waters of remote Diablo Lake while passing countless waterfalls. These glacial views, typically witnessed by only the hardiest of mountain trekkers, are now accessible even to those in wheelchairs.

Details for the 2003 Tour Season:

All tours begin at the Skagit Information Center in Newhalem where lunches are available for purchase and people are encouraged to picnic on the manicured grounds.


    Tour length: 2.5 hours

    Tour time:  Twice daily at 9:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.
                Check-in is 30 minutes before departure time.

    Tour dates: June - Saturday and Sunday only
                July and August - Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
                and Monday
                (There are no tours on Tuesdays or Wednesdays)
                September - Saturday and Sunday only

    Admission:  Adults $17, Seniors (age 62 and older) $15, Youth
                (6-12) $12, 5 and younger free
