EasyStand standers are manufactured by Altimate Medical Inc. (AMI), based out of Morton, Minnesota. The EasyStand was invented by Alan Tholkes, a C6-7 quadriplegic. 5000, 5000 Youth, and 6000 Glider glider, type of aircraft resembling an airplane but having at most a small auxiliary propulsion plant and usually no means of propulsion at all.
