StreamBase Augments Existing Executive Management & Board Member Leadership With Proven Industry Veterans & Venture Capital Visionaries

Waclawiczek has more than 20 years of success in leading product and go-to-market strategies for major software products that have generated over $1 billion (USD) in license revenue. In addition, StreamBase has added two new members to its Board of Directors - Paul Maeder, co-founder and managing general partner at Highland Capital Partners, and Dr. Felda Hardymon, who serves as a venture partner at Bessemer Venture Partners and a senior professor at Harvard Business School.

Dr. Michael Waclawiczek joins StreamBase as senior vice president of products. In this new position, Waclawiczek will lead the company's product management and marketing efforts for StreamBase's award-winning CEP software. Waclawiczek has a wealth of experience in driving product management, product marketing, and corporate marketing strategies for both well-established enterprise software vendors and emerging technology ventures. Since the mid-1980s, he has played a pivotal role in launching more than twenty major software products. Waclawiczek's proven expertise has resulted in cementing competitive advantage and industry leadership for companies such as Kalido, IONA Technologies, Object Design, ICAD and EDS Unigraphics. Before joining StreamBase, he was vice president of marketing and product management at Kalido, the leading provider of adaptive enterprise data warehousing and master data management software. Under his leadership, Kalido tripled its revenues to $18.5 million in 2005.
