) has entered an agreement with Sears, Roebuck and Co. (NYSE:S) to implement next-generation, in-store wireless mobile computing Using a computing device while in transit. Mobile computing implies wireless transmission, but wireless transmission does not necessarily imply mobile computing. Fixed wireless applications use satellites, radio systems and lasers to transmit between permanent objects such as buildings  solutions for the retailer's 860 U.S. full-line department stores This is a list of department stores. In the case of department store groups the location of the flagship store is given. This list does not include large specialist stores, which sometimes resemble department stores. .
