Sears nominates Price and Ryan to board.HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 20, 1997--The board of directors of Sears, Roebuck and Co. nominated Hugh B. Price, president and chief executive officer of the National Urban League, and Patrick G. Ryan, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Aon Corporation, to become members of the board. The nominees will be voted on by shareholders at the company's May 8 annual meeting, and would increase the number of Sears directors to 12. ``We are pleased to have these two outstanding nominees for our board,''said Sears chairman and chief executive officer Arthur C.
