The inputs provide 1000 volts of channel to channel and channel to computer isolation. Isolation is important in installations where the equipment connected to the PC is on a different power circuit or a different potential voltage level. The SeaPORT ISO-16 can monitor signals from five to 24 volts and eliminate the effects of Ground Loop Current, a commonly neglected and misunderstood phenomenon that can lead to damaged equipment. Onboard removable screw terminal connectors are included on the SeaPORT ISO-16, providing easy-access wiring connections.
