Seafirst Bank's prepaid phone cards now available at Tri-Cities, Pullman, Cheney, Spokane, Dayton and Vancouver Versatellers.

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 27, 1995--Seafirst Bank is offering prepaid long distance telephone cards at some of its Versateller automated teller machines in eastern Washington communities and in Vancouver.

A 30-minute prepaid MCI telephone card will be available for $9.99 from selected Versateller machines in Richland, Pasco, Kennewick, Pullman, Cheney, Spokane, Dayton and Vancouver. The cards are currently also offered at selected ATMs in Everett, Bellevue and Seattle.

The long distance cards are available to Seafirst customers and also customers of other banks who have an ATM card. After purchasing the phone card, the customer will call a toll-free number provided by MCI and enter an authorization number printed on the card. Customers will be able to call anywhere in the United States any time of day or night. MCI will monitor the minutes used by each cardholder and inform them of their remaining minutes.

Seafirst's Versateller machines also offer U.S. postage stamps, Metro bus passes in greater Seattle, gift certificates in some ATMs located in shopping malls and print-outs of a customer's bank statement as well as traditional functions such as deposits, withdrawals and transfer of funds from one Seafirst account to another.

The Seafirst phone card may be purchased this week at the bank's Versatellers in these locations:

Tri-Cities: Columbia Mall in Richland, 3420 West Kennewick Ave. in Kennewick, 350 West Lewis in Pasco, 1007 Knight Street in Richland, 2600 N. Columbia Center in Pasco, the Costco store at 845 N. Columbia Center in Pasco, the Kennewick Target store at 1106 Columbia Center Blvd., and the Tri-Cities Shopping Center in Kennewick.

Pullman: the WSU Compton Union building, 425 East Main Street.

Walla Walla: 111 West Main Street, the Super I Market at 710 South 9th Street, Walla Walla Community College at 500 Tausik Way, and in College Place at 204 S. College Ave.

Cheney: 423 First Street, Eastern Washington University Student Union building.

Spokane: Northtown Mall at N. 4750 N. Division Street.

Dayton: 306 East Main Street.

Vancouver: Vancouver Mall at 50001 N.E. Thurston Way.
