Scribner Building welcomes The Benetton Sportsystem.

The Benetton Sportsystem was officially introduced at a gala reception held in the international sports giant's penthouse showroom located in the Scribner Building at 597 Fifth Avenue.

The reception was held to celebrate the company's new 10-year lease on a penthouse floor in the landmarked building. The floor includes a 750-square-foot skylight.

The opening highlights Benetton's diversification effort in the world of sporting goods. Companies in the Benetton Sportsystem including Nordica, Prince, Rollerblade, Ektelon, Kastle and Graffaloy were selected for the Scribner site because of their worldwide stature, potential for enhanced product development and their ability to stand out as an innovator in fashion, technology and design.
