Carol Agnew is running a fundraiser in her home town of Kilbirnie, Ayrshire Ayrshire or Ayr, former county, SW Scotland. Ayrshire became part of the Strathclyde region in 1975. In the local government reorganization of 1996, Strathclyde was dissolved and the council areas of South, East, and North Ayrshire were created , on October 24.
Last night, Carol said: "It is so important that everybody gets together to help our kids and support the organisations which are there to help them.
"It was too late for help by the time Nicola died, but if it wasn't for Facilitate, we might have lost her mum Rona, too."
