Scorsese's warm NY welcome.


The Directors Guild of America announced that Martin Scorsese's Sikelia Productions has signed a lease for the entire 5th floor (comprising 7,500 rentable square feet) in the recently renovated historic DGA DGA Directors Guild of America (movie directors union)

This year, the DGA launched a major renovation and extensive upgrade of the New York Headquarters Building and Theater to become the leading center for film and television on the East Coast. With amenities such as the state-of-the-art theatrical screening facilities and building and building systems, the DGA New York Headquarters is attracting the interest of established production companies and other entertainment industry prospective tenants. Completion for this project is anticipated in the first quarter of 2004.

On December 20, 2006, the corporation, also known as CBRE, completed acquisition of Trammell Crow Co. in a transaction valued at $2.  represented Sikelia Productions while Bernstein Real Estate's Vincent J. Terranova and Peter Liptrot represented the DGA in the deal.
