Science Applications International Corp., Midwest City, Okla., was awarded on Sept. 11, 2001, $9,034,796; CACI Field Services Inc., Chantilly, Va., $7,994,328; and Resource Consultants Inc., Vienna, Va., $7,597,272 in a multiple award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide technical support services for the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Mechanicsburg, Pa., and its associated field activities. Services include independent analysis and technical studies as well as project management and trouble shooting in response to tasks involving the development and initiatives assigned to NAVSUP. The contract includes contains options which, if exercised, would bring the total cumulative not-to-exceed value to $53,000,000. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C.; Mechanicsburg, Pa.; and other NAVSUP field activity sites as specified on individual delivery orders. Work is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through Commerce Business Daily announcement with five offers received, and three are receiving award. These three contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract.
