School prayer: an ounce of prevention.Hooray for Laurette Elsberry's letter to the editor, entitled "Marriages That Aren't," in the September 20 issue of THE NEW AMERICAN. Even the Christian ministers are referring to "gay marriages." I have chastised them by commenting that the term has no legitimate meaning. The term should be "sodomite illegitimate unions." In her letter, Laurette Elsberry agreed with George Detweiler (the author of "How to Protect Marriage" in the August 9 issue of TNA TNA - Talula National Athletics (Aritzia clothing brand) TNA - Tamil National Alliance (Sri Lanka) TNA - Telephone Network Analyzer (Agilent) TNA - Telephone Number Administration TNA - Tennessee Nurses Association TNA - Texas Numismatic Association TNA - Texas Nurses Association TNA - Thales North America TNA - The National Acrobat (band) TNA - The National Archives (UK) TNA - The Nut Association TNA - Then, Now, Always) that we must curb the abuses of the corrupt courts. She then wrote, "The time to start is now!" No, the time to have started was when the Christians allowed prayer to be put out of the public schools and the sexologists brought sex education in. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." DONA BENTLEY Portsmouth, New Hampshire |
