Neal allegedly sent several text messages to a Seneca Middle School student, in which he solicited sexual activity. Sgt. Casey Bowling with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested Neal on Wednesday, December 11, 2008 at his residence. Neal is also charged with Unlawful Use of Telephone in connection with this case. The School District of Oconee County has terminated Neal’s employment with the district. This case remains under investigation, and officials have not ruled out the possibility of additional charges. Officials with the district say Neal went through a screening process that included a background check.
