Scholarships for design.


Troy-based ArvinMeritor Inc. awarded scholarships totaling $10,500 to the three winners of its sixth annual "Visions of the Future" scholarship awards program.

The program is held in partnership with Detroit's College for Creative Studies to support vehicle design education and the development of advanced automotive technology.

This year's winners were CCS senior James Gasparotto of Canton, $5,000; senior Nenad Matovski of Shelby Township, $3,500; and junior Jesse Daniels of Detroit, $2,000,

The scholarships were presented at ArvinMeritor's annual Innovation and Technical Achievement Awards ceremony at Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village in Dearborn.
