Scholarships for design.


Troy-based ArvinMeritor Inc. awarded scholarships totaling $10,500 to the three winners of its sixth annual "Visions of the Future" scholarship awards program.

The program is held in partnership with Detroit's College for Creative Studies to support vehicle design education and the development of advanced automotive technology Noun 1. automotive technology - the activity of designing and constructing automobiles

This year's winners were CCS (1) (Common Channel Signaling) A communications system in which one channel is used for signaling and different channels are used for voice/data transmission. The scholarships were presented at ArvinMeritor's annual Innovation and Technical Achievement Awards ceremony at Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village Greenfield Village, reproduction of an early American village, est. 1933 by Henry Ford at Dearborn, Mich., as part of the Edison Institute. A white-spired church, a town hall, an inn, a school, a courthouse, a general store, and other buildings are grouped about a  in Dearborn.
