Results of Use-of-Funds Survey

The 1999 Foundation for Physical Therapy survey of grant recipients was undertaken to determine the scholarly productivity of grant recipients. The results of this survey will be used to illustrate the ways in which past contributions have positively affected the profession and to collect information to use for marketing the benefits of donating.

Results of various scholarly activities of Foundation fund recipients have been reported over the past 5 months. Research outcomes ultimately benefit all in the profession, and the Foundation strives to promote a positive experience for fund recipients. Satisfaction with the process and with the Foundation was assessed, and results are shown in the Table. These data were generated from 152 of the 161 total respondents. Overall, the recipients were satisfied with the grant guidelines, their interactions with Foundation staff, and with their overall experience with the Foundation.
