Test Equipment (ATE) today announced the industry's fastest traffic generator and analysis option to fully stress V5 access network equipment under test before deployment in the field. This option, available on the Schlumberger S Schlumberger Limited is the world's largest oilfield services corporation operating in approximately 80 countries, with about 70,000 people of 140 nationalities. Schlumberger supplies a wide range of products and services from seismic acquisition and processing; formation 765 family of testers, provides switch manufacturers and access network manufacturers the ability to verify (1) To prove the correctness of data.

This capability provides system users the required level of traffic to fully stress the system under test. The option also provides complete traffic analysis from the traffic generation run to pinpoint errors and bottlenecks.

"Schlumberger has always been focused on improving our customers' productivity," stated Peter Lwin, general manager, Telecommunication telecommunication

real world conditions and repair problems quickly before the systems are deployed in the field. This will increase their productivity by eliminating time consuming repairs in the field."

"In the past, the limits of the system-under-test were never found because the test equipment 'topped out' before the system. Now customers are finally able to understand their equipment limits by stressing the system-under-test to the point of failure," commented Len Van Eck, director of marketing, Telecommunication Systems, Schlumberger ATE. "The new option on the S765 is the fastest traffic generator on the market, providing bulk calls on the network side in both the development and the manufacturing environment."

The S765 family of telecommunication testers provides compatible solutions that verify GR303 and V5 interfaces from development through final manufacturing before deployment as a final quality gate. They also offer flexibility to test a completed system as a whole unit or as a sub-module tester providing rack-level test capability.

The high traffic generation and analysis option is now available on the S765 family of V5 testers. Pricing starts at $60,000.

Schlumberger ATE designs and manufactures the most comprehensive line of back-end manufacturing equipment for the assembly, analysis and testing of semiconductor devices, including diagnostic systems, automation systems and automatic test equipment. It also provides measurement systems for front-end applications, as well as equipment to test complete electronic assemblies and systems for the telecommunications Communicating information, including data, text, pictures, voice and video over long distance.
