Schlage LiNK[TM] Remote Home-Management System Now Widely Available Online and in More Than 5,000 Stores Nationwide.


$299 Do-It-Yourself System Lets Homeowners Monitor and Control Door Access, Temperature, Lighting and More from a Computer or Cell Phone

CARMEL, Ind. -- With the addition of online partners TigerDirect.com, CircuitCity.com and CompUSA.com, the Schlage LiNK[TM] home-management system is now available through 17 online retailers and in more than 4,500 RadioShack and 650 Lowe's stores across the country. The list of e-tailers also includes Lowes.com, RadioShack.com and powerhouse Amazon.com.

The Schlage LiNK System includes a wireless lock or deadbolt and is built around Z-Wave([R]) technology, which enables homeowners to lock and unlock doors, monitor live camera feeds, and control temperature, lighting and other devices from any computer and most Web-enabled mobile phones, including Apple's iPhone and RIM's BlackBerry smartphones.
