Schering-Plough Animal Health Corporation, Union, N.J., forms an agreement to acquire from Pfizer Inc., New York, the U.S. distribution and marketing rights to Pfizer Animal Health's intramammary antibiotic infusion products Dariclox[R], Amoxi-Mast[R] and Orbenin-DC[R]. (At Closing News).

Schering-Plough Animal Health Corporation, Union, N.J., forms an agreement to acquire from Pfizer Inc., New York, the U.S. distribution and marketing rights to Pfizer Animal Health's intramammary antibiotic infusion products Dariclox[R], Amoxi-Mast[R] and Orbenin-DC[R]. Dariclox (sodium cloxacillin) and Amoxi-Mast (amoxicillin trihydrate) are approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of mastitis (inflammation) in lactating dairy cattle. Orbenin-DC (benzathine cloxacillin) is approved by the FDA for the treatment and prevention of mastiffs in non-lactating dairy cattle.
