Prior to Stellent, Rudy served as chief executive officer of Hypertree, a software startup focused on information structure management. He also worked in various executive, director and managerial roles at Workgroup Technology Corporation, a document and product content solutions provider, and ELDEC, a leading supplier for the aerospace market. At Workgroup, Rudy led a product team that helped grow revenue from $200,000 to $10 million in just two years, culminating in a successful initial public offering in 1996. During his 11 years at ELDEC, he led the corporate initiatives for paperless design and manufacturing, successfully implementing an enterprise product data management system integrated to all design and manufacturing systems. Rudy earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from The Ohio State University Ohio State University, main campus at Columbus; land-grant and state supported; coeducational; chartered 1870, opened 1873 as Ohio Agricultural and Mechanical College, renamed 1878.
