Schaeffer's S&P 500 Index Hot Stocks for Thursday, July 13, 2006:

A daily feature available on SchaeffersResearch.com is the "SPX (Sequenced Packet EXchange) The transport layer protocol in the NetWare operating system. In May, the stock hit the highest levels we have seen since June 2000, but it has since pulled back to the support of its 10-month moving average.

The stock was down more than five percent when we grabbed our figures for this piece, and leads the way into the SPX loser's circle.

 downgraded Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS) to "sector underperformer" from "sector performer" this morning, prompting a sharp gap lower on the open. The stock is currently trading below its 20-week moving average, an ascending trendline that it has not closed a week below since December. That's going to be one to watch tomorrow afternoon.
