Today, investors have continued to applaud this move, as X has gained nearly five percent. The automaking industry has been kind enough to supply me with the final two stocks in our article this afternoon; General Motors (NYSE:GM) and Ford Motor (NYSE:F). F has lost more than three percent today after The Wall Street Journal reported that it is going to cut production at its Jaguar luxury brand by as much as seven percent in 2006. Reportedly, the carmaker may sell its Brown Lane plant in Coventry, England. A spokesman from Jaguar told the Journal that it is in talks with parties that have expressed interest in buying the plant, and that no final decision has been made whether or not to sell the site. GM has lost more than three percent ahead of tomorrow's announcement of November U.S. sales results.
