Boeing : Boeing (NYSE:BA) has been a little shaken up today as it shuffles through its executives. The company named Scott Carson president and chief executive of Boeing Commercial Airplanes to replace Alan Mulally, who was named chief executive at Ford Motor (NYSE:F). Technically speaking, the shares have fallen back below their 10-day moving average, which in tandem with the stock's 20-day trendlines, has led BA lower since late June. The equity is also battling resistance at its 10-week moving average. The security has logged only one weekly close above this trendline since June. BA currently appears poised to test support at its 20-month moving average in the 70 region.

Netflix : Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) has jumped roughly four percent this afternoon following an upgrade from J.P. Morgan to "overweight" from "underweight." The brokerage firm stated that it believes investors are overly concerned about growth risks tied to technology changes. While the stock has marched sharply higher today, it was halted by resistance at its declining 10-week moving average. NFLX has not logged a weekly close above this trendline since mid-May. There is also a chance that the shares will continue to hover close to the 20 mark during the near-term as this is the site of both peak call and put open interest in the September series. The September 20 call currently boasts open interest of 6,100 contracts, with another 1,000 contracts changing hands today. Meanwhile, the September 20 put is home to more than 5,300 contracts, with roughly 1,300 contracts crossing the tape.

Sunoco : Oil concern Sunoco (NYSE:SUN) was slapped with a downgrade from Citigroup this morning, moving the security from "buy" to "hold." The news sent the shares below support at the 70 level, which is the site of both former support and resistance for the shares. Furthermore, the equity has drifted below support at its 20-month moving average. The equity has been testing this trendline during the past four months and a breach could signal that the stock has additional downside ahead of it. Meanwhile, put open interest below the shares is extremely light, eliminating any hopes of the stock finding options-related support. Overall, it looks like this SUN may continue to set.
