Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) has flown to the top of our list today on little more than a drop in crude prices. If you remember, on Friday, DAL sat at the number-two spot on the list after its pilots union accepted a $1-billion pay cut to help the airline stay out of bankruptcy. Momentum from that news combined with the lower crude prices has given DAL enough fuel to gain slightly more than nine percent in today's market action.

Analog Devices (NYSE:ADI) rolled out the "world's first complete chipset from a single supplier for developers of 3G mobile terminals," according to according to

The Goodrich Corporation (NYSE:GR) announced that it expects sales for 2005 to surge ahead and hit $5.0 to $5.1 billion. This marks a number that will come in six-to-eight-percent higher than 2004's expected earnings. This would bring the company to earnings of $1.60 to $1.80 per share, a jump of 20 to 35 percent over 2004's estimates. The consensus estimate for next year's earnings currently stands at $1.80 per share. This news sent GR shares tumbling slightly less than five percent today.

As stated earlier, crude prices have dropped further, slipping beneath $47 per barrel (after falling as low as $45.50 per barrel). This was good news for transportation companies, but not so good for oil producers. One stock drowning in the red is Noble Drilling (NYSE:NE), slipping four percent in trading today. Little more than the drop in crude has fueled NE's fall of nearly four percent.
