PC antivirus guru Symantec (NASDAQ:SYMC) fills out our list of advancers. The stock is up nearly two percent after SYMC said it would offer $2 billion of convertible senior notes to institutions. However, the shares appear to be capped by their declining 20-day moving average, which has held the equity in check since May 2006. Joining the rest of the market in decline mode today, Comverse Technologies (NASDAQ:CMVT) has plunged more than 12 percent on a poor first-quarter earnings performance. For the period, CMVT reported sales of $373.5 million, and said it won't be able to file its Form 10-Q Form 10-Q See 10-Q. for the April quarter before a deadline due to its ongoing review of past stock option grants.
