In yesterday's session, there were 58 stocks on the NYSE and 75 stocks on the NASDAQ that were able to achieve new annual highs. On the other hand, there were 68 new lows on the NYSE and 53 on the NASDAQ. We look for stocks that sport an "extreme" Schaeffer's Equity Scorecard reading, either close to 0 or close to 10. For a bullish play, Midway Games (NYSE:MWY) looks like a possibility, and Titanium Metals (NYSE:TIE) is another stock to watch. Both score 9.0 out of 10. On the bearish side, AMERIGROUP (AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) A high-speed 32-bit port from Intel for attaching a display adapter to a PC. It provides a direct connection between the card and memory, and only one AGP slot is on the motherboard. ) scores just 2.0 out of 10.
