Here are some of the Halloween events happening this weekend. For details and a more complete list of haunted happenings, see the entertainment calendar, Page 19.

Diablo's Downtown Lounge, 959 Pearl St., is becoming a Eugene Halloween institution. The fiery nightclub, which includes the upstairs Lounge and the downstairs dance club known as Diablo's, has hosted a Halloween party for the past five years. This year, the club hosts a three-day blowout that starts today and culminates with a Sunday night Sunday Night, later named Michelob Presents Night Music, was an NBC late-night television show which aired for two seasons between 1988 and 1990 as a showcase for jazz and eclectic musical artists.  raffle for a trip to Mexico and a costume contest with some hefty cash prizes.

Today's entertainment line-up features Dr. Theopolis This is an entry for the Buck Rogers character. For the Portland, Oregon based rock band see Dr Theopolis (band)

Dr. Theopolis was a recurring character on the NBC science fiction television series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.
, DJ Gen.eric and Super J. On Saturday night Monkee Torture, Anonymous Alcoholics, Debris and the Vinyl Pimps all will perform. Sunday is the biggest night of the three, with a performance by the all female Black Sabbath Black Sabbath are an English heavy metal band from Birmingham. The original band line up of Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Terence "Geezer" Butler (bass), and Bill Ward (drums) is the same as the current line up (2007) although there have been many shifts of personnel  tribute band Mistress of Reality upstairs and some spinning by DJ Evil One downstairs.

Also on Saturday, the McKenzie Blues Project will host a costume bash at the Hilton Eugene. For something completely different, check out "Pipe Screams" a spooky and silly showcase of organ music at First United Methodist Church First United Methodist Church is a common name for the first United Methodist church established in a particular locality. Many First United Methodist Churches exist around the world. , 1376 Olive St., and don't forget the Downtown Initiative for the Visual Art's Visual Art's (ビジュアルアーツ Bijuaru Ātsu  costume party, which showcases local music, art, wine and desserts at six different venues.

On Sunday, the newly formed Rainy Day Blues Society partners up with FOOD for Lane County for a Halloween blues party, costume contest and food drive at Cozmic Pizza (Eighth Avenue), 199 W. Eighth Ave. Mo'fessor, the Vipers with Deb Cleveland and the Mojo Hit Men will provide the musical entertainment.

The Fifth Street Public Market also will team up with FOOD for Lane County for "Rockin' ExtravaCANsa," an event featuring a pumpkin decoration workshop and music by Kutsinhira Youth Marimba marimba: see xylophone.

 Ensemble, Choco Blanco and Joel Bouhey. That same day Sam Bond's Garage, 407 Blair Blvd., hosts its own Halloween party with Terpsichore's Daughter.
