(Nasdaq National Market: HOWT HOWT Howard Terminal Railroad ), to manufacture Howtek's HiResolve 8000 drum scanner A type of scanner used to capture the highest resolution from an image. Photographs and transparencies are taped, clamped or fitted into a clear cylinder (drum) that is spun at speeds exceeding 1,000 RPM during the scanning operation. . The order calls for 114 units to be delivered at a rate of 12-15 units per month and is worth approximately $1 million.
