Keeping to plans it announced in July to bring enterprise-class email and calendaring to the open source community, the source code components released today are part of the base code for all Scalix product editions: Scalix Community Edition, Scalix Small Business Edition, and Scalix Enterprise Edition. It includes the translation of menus and messages into the native spoken language as well as changes in the user interface to accommodate different alphabets and culture. Scalix will follow with contributions of further open source components through 1Q07.
