Say you're a Hollywood mogul.

Say you're a Hollywood mogul. You've got a problem. It could be that some pesky actor wants out of a contract. Or an old girlfriend is threatening to sue. Or a business partner is making trouble. Who you gonna call? We've been learning lately that quite a few top guns in the entertainment business turned to Anthony Pellicano Anthony Pellicano (born March 22, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois) is a former high-profile Los Angeles private investigator who recently served a sentence in federal prison for illegal possession of explosives, and who was arrested on February 4, 2006, on unlawful wiretapping and , the "private investigator to the stars," who would tap the phones of his clients' enemies and use the illegally obtained information for a campaign of threats and intimidation. There have been a lot of recent revelations about Pellicano--who has served time in prison for the illegal possession of, among other things, hand grenades and plastic explosives--but no one seems to want to mention two of his most famous clients: Bill and Hillary Clinton. Pellicano first used his talents in behalf of the former First Couple back in 1992, when he tried (unsuccessfully) to discredit TO DISCREDIT, practice, evidence. To deprive one of credit or confidence.

Then Pellicano popped up again during the Lewinsky scandal Lewinsky scandal (ləwĭn`skē), sensation that enveloped the presidency of Bill Clinton in 1998–99, leading to his impeachment by the U.S. House of Representatives and acquittal by the Senate. , when he was assigned the task of finding out what was on those tapes of Monica Lewinsky Monica Samille Lewinsky (born July 23, 1973) is an American woman with whom the former United States President Bill Clinton admitted (after initially denying) to having had an "inappropriate relationship"[1] while Lewinsky worked at the White House in 1995 and 1996.  talking with Linda Tripp Linda Tripp (born Linda Rose Carotenuto on November 24, 1949 in Jersey City, New Jersey) was a central figure in the Lewinsky scandal of 1998 and 1999 that led to the impeachment and subsequent acquittal of U.S. President Bill Clinton. . Now, of course, Mrs. Clinton is getting ready for a run for president, and--you never can tell--maybe Pellicano will be there to help (if he's not in jail). We just thought you should know.
