, multimedia work, coming to Dance Theater Workshop Dance Theater Workshop is a New York City performance space and service organization for dance companies. Located on West 19th Street in the Chelsea section of Manhattan, DTW was founded in 1965 by Jeff Duncan, Art Bauman and Jack Moore as a choreographers' collective.  December 10 to 13 as part of the Central Station series, seems more like a cross between Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker (born 1960 in Mechelen, Belgium, grew up in Wemmel) studied from 1978 to 1980 at MUDRA in Brussels, the school linked to La Monnaie and to Maurice Béjart's Ballet of the XXth Century. In 1981, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts in New York.  and Beckett than anything having to do with Petipa. In a reference to the Soviet era, films of dancing swans altenate with films of tractors. In another section, a repeating film of the four orderly "little swans" contrasts with zany rag-doll partnering onstage. Sergei Zagny's gloss on Tchaikovsky's music prunes out the "embarrassing sentimentality" but leaves in the kinetic allure--a perfect match for the gritty charm of Pepelyaev's movement.
