Saw blades maximize yield & productivity.

Super Thin Saws produces a special line of IntegralFlange saw blades expressly for double vertical arbor sawing units by Weinig, Schroeder and others. The saw blades have been designed for producing the sawn veneer wear layers for engineered flooring in North American North American

, European and tropical hardwoods. The blades are available in a variety of materials, including cast alloys and carbide.

When used in conjunction with appropriate machinery, these saw blades saw to very tight size tolerances and produce top quality gluable slats at feed rates of 30m/min (100 fpm)--sometimes even higher. There is also no need to settle for miniscule min·is·cule

saw blades. They are also designed to be completely retipped after a number of sharpenings.

The saw blades are available for double arbor and quad arbor machinery, with kerfs as small as 1.2mm (0.047 in.) for the main saw blade, and even less for the scoring blades. Slat widths up to 150mm (6 in.) are practical, with narrower widths using the thinnest kerfs. Saw blades are available in inch and metric sizes and are always customized to the particular needs of each customer. Species, moisture content, grade, width (depth of cut), RPM and feed rate are among the variables taken into account.
