 Inc. ("Save Smart"), a subsidiary of Vector Intermediaries Inc. ("Vector") (ASE-VTE) today announced the launch of SmartCare. Subsequent to a prior agreement with Wal-Mart Canada's Pharmacy Division, SmartCare will be introduced today in Save-Smart's 11 Ontario Wal-Mart locations.

SmartCare, an innovative insurance program created by Save-Smart, addresses the needs of 3.5 million Canadians who do not enjoy prescription drugs, extended health and dental benefits.

In cooperation with Wal-Mart Pharmacy and Liberty Health, SmartCare was developed to meet the health and dental insurance Dental insurance is insurance designed to pay the costs associated with dental care. Ontario consumers who do not have access to a Save-Smart can dial 1-888-728-3768 to enroll. SmartCare is expected to be rolled out to other provinces next year.
