Save On Energy, Inc. Announces the Completion of a New Digital Diesel Natural Gas Control System.

Save On Energy, Inc. (SAVE) - (OTC:SOEI) announced today that it has completed the development of a new digital fuel control system for heavy duty vehicles and stationary diesel engines. This new system will allow natural gas to replace up to 80% of a diesel engine's fuel requirements. The system is designed to precisely meter natural gas into the combustion cycle throughout the engines operating torque and power curves.

Save On Energy, Inc. has developed and currently markets a patented, dual fuel natural gas retrofit system which, when installed on a diesel engine vehicle, permits the use of natural gas and diesel fuel together. The operation of the system results in both a reduction of pollutants and significant reduction of diesel fuel. Uniquely, the SAVE system constantly monitors many engine operating parameters and alters the amount of natural gas and diesel fuel based on engine speed and load. No modifications are made to the original engine when converting the vehicle.

The new digital fuel control system is unique from previous designs and the competition in that the system allows natural gas to be injected into the combustion cycle at engine idle. This process enables the Save On Energy equipment to significantly reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter (PM) and other undesirable emissions. This development will be of particular interest to the operators of diesel equipment used in the standby generation market.

In some areas of the United States, environmental regulations require that diesel equipment meet stricter emissions standards. With the new digital unit, an operator has more solutions to choose from. An additional feature of this new digital system is that it allows the equipment to be tailored to a specific engines operational requirement. "We have designed this system to perfectly match the original equipment manufacturers design specifications so that there is no loss of power and the reliability of the engine is not compromised," said Stiles.

The equipment will be supplied by Save On Energy's subsidiary company, Electronic Fuel Control, located in Atlanta, Georgia.
