Satanism: is it real?


In a time when "all hell" is breaking out around us, while some theologians are denying the existence of a personal devil, it is important that pastoral caregivers and parents receive information about what the Church has taught for 2000 years and is still teaching today. It is important for us to learn what the bible says about Satan; what the devil is like; what he can and cannot do; about the methods used by the devil to get us to do what he wants us to do; about how we can be freed from demonic influence either through deliverance prayer or through exorcism exorcism (ĕk`sôrsĭz'əm), ritual act of driving out evil demons or spirits from places, persons, or things in which they are thought to dwell. It occurs both in primitive societies and in the religions of sophisticated cultures. .
