Saskatoon's West side harbors impressively influential residents. (Letters to the Editor).A few months ago, in your December/January issue, I was humbled hum·ble adj. hum·bler, hum·blest 1. Marked by meekness or modesty in behavior, attitude, or spirit; not arrogant or prideful. 2. but proud to find your magazine had named me as one of the 10 most influential businessmen in Saskatchewan Saskatchewan, province, Canada Saskatchewan (səskăch`əwən, –wän', săs'–), province (2001 pop. 978,933), 251,700 sq mi (651,903 sq km), W Canada. . I see in the recent May issue that my next door neighbor, and very good friend, Paul Paul, 1901–64, king of the Hellenes (1947–64), brother and successor of George II. He married (1938) Princess Frederika of Brunswick. During Paul's reign Greece followed a pro-Western policy, and the Cyprus question was temporarily resolved. Meinema, has been named one of the 10 most influential labor leaders in the province. I thought it worth pointing out that Whitecap Terrace in Parkridge district (the WEST SIDE) in Saskatoon Saskatoon (săskət n`), city (1991 pop. 186,058), S central Sask., Canada, on the South Saskatchewan River. is home to two of the 20 most
influential people out of one million in the province.
It really makes you wonder why all those people want to live on the EAST SIDE of the city! James W. Yuel Saskatoon |
