Sapir was the recipient of Lydia Vareljian Humanitarian Award. The Russian Division also honored Alex Goldin, recipient of the Young Leadership Award. Sapir built the Congregation of Georgian Jews Synagogue in Rego Park, Queens Rego Park is a diverse neighborhood in the central portion of the New York City borough of Queens. It is bordered to the north by Elmhurst and Corona, the east and south by Forest Hills and the west by Middle Village. The neighborhood is part of Queens Community Board 6. , as well as a synagogue in Israel. Goldin, born in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1971, arrived in the U.S. in 1977. An attorney, he is a member of the New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of State Trial Lawyers Association and is a licensed New York real estate broker. He serves as a UJA-Federation of New York Young Leadership/Russian Division board member and is currently a member of the Leadership cabinet. |
