Sanswire Technologies, Inc., (OTC: SNWR) an international, high-speed, wireless Internet service provider announced today that it has entered into an agreement to purchase the assets of Virtualactive Technologies, a Dunwoody, Georgia based Internet and Application Service Provider.

Sanswire Technologies provides high-speed wireless Internet access to its customers using the 802.11 protocol and has begun the construction of a "National Wireless Network" that will allow its subscribers to access the Internet wirelessly at high-speed from anywhere in the United States and in parts of Canada and Mexico.

Virtualactive provides Internet and Application Service Provision (ASP) infrastructure to support server collocation, web hosting, application hosting, collaboration systems and email hosting to customers in 21 countries including the United States.

The acquisition of Virtualactive provides Sanswire with the missing value-added services, infrastructure, and facilities to host various Internet services, which include applications to interact with and advertise to millions of people around the world.
