The deal is expected to close in Sanmina-SCI's (sanmina-sci.com) fiscal 2004 Q4 or 2005 Q1, pending approval by Pentex-Schweizer shareholders and Singapore court approval. More than 54% of shares in Pentex-Schweizer have been committed to the sale. Pentex-Schweizer has factories in Wuxi, China and Singapore, with a total of 470,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, with another 450,000 sq. ft. available in China.
