) - Daiichi Sankyo announced on January 10 that its wholly owned subsidiary Wholly Owned Subsidiary

A subsidiary whose parent company owns 100% of its common stock.

Notes:
In other words, the parent company owns the company outright and there are no minority owners.
 Sankyo and US company KAI Pharmaceuticals have entered into a licensing agreement on KAI-9803, a drug candidate developed by KAI Pharmaceuticals.

Under the agreement terms, Sankyo and KAI Pharmaceuticals will collaborate in the worldwide development and commercialization of KAI-9803.

In addition, Sankyo will make an initial payment of $20 million to KAI Pharmaceuticals.
