Sankyo Announces Completion of Subject Registration for ORIENT Clinical Trial.Tokyo, Japan, Oct 15, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN Japan Corporate News Network ) - Daiichi Sankyo announced on October 12 that its subsidiary Sankyo has completed the registration of subjects for ORIENT: Olmesartan Reducing Incidence of End Stage Renal Disease Renal disease Kidney disease. Currently, olmesartan medoxomil is an angiotensin II receptor blocker approved in 32 countries worldwide and marketed in Japan under the trade name of Olmetec.
