Sandy Spring Bancorp Announces 1st Quarter Dividend.
OLNEY, Md., March 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sandy Spring
Bancorp, Inc., the parent company of Sandy Spring Bank, announced that
its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly dividend of
$0.23 per share for the 1st quarter of 2007. Compared to the first
quarter of 2006, this first quarter dividend for 2007 represents an
increase of $0.01 per share. The dividend is payable on March 22, 2007
to shareholders of record as of the close of business on March 12, 2007.
