Sandra Dee launches new anti-aging skin care line "NuEssence" through infomercial.

EAST HANOVER, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 25, 1996--Hollywood legend, Sandra Dee, is launching a line of unique, anti-aging skin formulations called NuEssence by Sandra Dee.

The product line will be introduced in a 30-minute infomercial which will debut on Oct. 3, 1996 in various markets across the country.

"After using the products and feeling and seeing the difference they have made for me, I knew I had a breakthrough skin formula. I've never endorsed a product before, but believe NuEssence can really change the way my entire generation of women uses cosmetics. I am delighted to be part of the NuEssence team," Dee stated.

NuEssence by Sandra Dee is scientifically developed for baby boomer women over 40 years old. The products represent an innovation in anti-aging skin products and are a complete departure from Alpha Hydroxy Acid based products. The products concentrate on improvement to the skin through a combination of unique, special ingredients.

The main product in the NuEssence by Sandra Dee line, the Iced Facial Cone, utilizes a new delivery system of product to the face and neck areas. The active ingredients of the Cone are mixed together freshly at home in seconds, placed in the Cone and stored in the freezer until ready for use. Freezing the product activates the formula which produces remarkable results.

The Iced Facial Cone has been formulated for use with the NuEssence Cleanser, NuEssence Day and Night Rejuvenator and NuEssence EyeZone Enhancer. All four products in the line were developed in combination with French and United States research teams. This exceptional formulation is now available in the United States exclusively through Sandra Dee's infomercial.

Sandra Dee's hit movies include "A Summer Place," "Come September," "Imitation of Life," and of course, "Gidget and Tammy." She is co-authoring a book of her memoirs about the Hollywood she knew during the years she spent as the number one female box-office star in America. A major motion picture is also being developed by Warner Brothers with Oscar-winning director, Barry Levinson. The film, tentatively titled "Dream Lovers," will be based on the lives of Sandra Dee and her late husband, singer Bobby Darrin.

NOTE: Sandra Dee is planning personal appearances in the New York area to promote her line of NuEssence by Sandra Dee products during the weeks of September 30th and October 7th. For information and/or to schedule an interview contact:
