Sanders just another politician.

I started reading the December 2005 interview with Bernie Sanders Bernard "Bernie" Sanders (born September 8, 1941) is the current junior United States Senator from Vermont. Sanders was elected on November 7, 2006, and is presently a member of the 110th United States Congress.  and was favorably impressed (Interview by Ruth Conniff Ruth Conniff is an American journalist and the political editor of The Progressive. Publications she has written for include The Progressive and The Nation. ). It wasn't until the end that I realized that Sanders is no different than all the other poor excuses in politics today.

Let's set the record straight one more time. Kerry, like Gore, lost fair and square. They didn't lose because Nader stole their votes. They lost because they had nothing to say. It is the height of arrogance to say that all Democrats must vote the party line--no matter who the candidate is.

Sanders says, "At this particular moment progressives have got to unite." Behind whom? First they have to find candidates who don't talk like Democrats while they think and act like Republicans.
