) of the new Advanced Threat Infrared Countermeasures/Common Missile Warning System (ATIRCM/CMWS ATIRCM/CMWS Advanced Threat Infrared Countermeasure/Common Missile Warning System ) on a U.S Army EH-60 helicopter. The tests, which were completed April 10, were a prerequisite for contractor flight testing which is now scheduled to begin in June at Sanders' facilities in Merrimack, N.H.

The full ATIRCM/CMWS system, being developed at Sanders under an engineering and manufacturing development contract, consists of passive missile warning, active infrared jamming and improved countermeasure dispensers. The system is currently designated for installation on the AH-64, UH-60, CH-47, EH-60 and various Special Operations Aircraft. The CMWS CMWS Common Missile Warning System  system is scheduled for deployment on other helicopters and tactical fixed-wing aircraft as well.
